GPS Compression GPS values are compressed to achieve the shortest possible messages over the radio path.  Status Sensitive GPS GPS updates can be embedded with status messages, so that both location and status can be reported in a single message.  GPS Odometer A GPS Odometer keeps track of distance traveled for each work order. Automatic Area Reporting The mobile client is programmed with polygon areas to allow for automatic reporting when dispatch areas are crossed.  Automatic GPS OnSite The GPS coordinates for the Work Order are sent to the mobile device.
