Custom Database Fields
The System Administrator can create new database fields 'on the fly'. Various
database field types are supported. The new database fields can be used immediately.
Data Types
The system supports the following database field types:
- text (string)
- numeric
- decimal
- currency
- date
- datetime
- checkbox
- picklist
Picklists can be set up to show a predetermined list of entries, or they can be
designated as smart lists, which automatically expand as new entries are made.
The order of appearance can be customized. You can also specify whether certain
fields should be considered mandatory.
