Database Flexibility
PiccoloCRM can be deployed on standard Microsoft Database Platforms under
the .NET Framework:
- MS Access
- SQL Server Express
- SQL Server
Whereas in the past the powerful SQL Server database was primarily the domain of
larger Enterprise organization, the new SQL Server Express Edition brings the power
of SQL Server to small organizations.
SQL Server Express has some limitations compared to the full commercial editions,
but it is more than adequate for most small companies at a price that cannot be
beat.
The MS Access platform makes sense for single users, or can be used within a contained
test environment.
Deployment Flexibility
PiccoloCRM can be deployed in a variety of configurations:
- Single User
- Corporate LAN
- Corporate Web Site
- Third Party Hosted Web Site (GoDaddy, Webhost4Life, etc.)
- Piccolo Hosted Web Site
PiccoloCRM deployed on a Corporate LAN can also be configured for XML Web Services
for the benefit of employees outside the office. The same database is shared by
all users to make collaboration easier.
In case of a Third Party or Piccolo Hosted Web Site, we manage all aspects of the
deployment and on-going system maintenance, so that you can focus on your business.
You can easily deploy PiccoloCRM on your LAN or Web Site, or if you prefer, we can

Mobile Client
Laptop users can access the PiccoloCRM central databases over the Internet.
The user interface is identical to the one in the office, the only difference is
the method by which the database is reached.
Windows Mobile devices can access selected PiccoloCRM functions over the Internet. |
